
Fajitas
So I have one of these little McCormick Four Cheese seasoning packet and the instructions are for mashed potatoes. Last time I cooked I made this in a glass dish with sliced potato’s in the oven with the ingredients and packet and it turned out ok, but I think there must be another way. Diced, sliced, cubed, fry em, bake em, whatever it may be I just don’t want mashed potatoes. please help only thing we have to eat in the house! ![]()
forget the packet of seasoning for now
Peel and slice your potatoes in rounds about 1/4 inch thickness wash them and drain them
Slice a one Spanish onion into a frying pan and brown partially to golden
Add your potatoes on top of the browning onion and season with salt & pepper
Cook on a medium low heat covered for 15 to 20 minutes until soft and turn all over in the pan until done,

what is best seasoning? I find the mccormick packets much too strong! How can I season chicken MILD….to use in chicken burritos?
Seasoning= salt and pepper.
For flavoring, you'll want to use "traditional" mexican flavors. Oregeno (mexican if you can get it) a little cumin, and chiles (milder ones or hotter ones depending on your preference), onion, and garlic (not too much).
